We’re a little bit warmer and a little bit lighter in the evenings – maybe you are inspired to join us for Day Three of our series of practical workdays in Jervis Lum (Norfolk Park)?
We’ll be meeting again this Sunday 26 Feb at 11 am at the top of the steps to the Lum, which is at the top end of Norfolk Park near the big metal bridge. And we’ll spend an hour or two lopping and sawing the holly which is at the moment dominating the wood. We’ve made steady progress already. It’s physical work, but – and this is the good bit about volunteering! – you can take it easy if you want, just do what you can and stay for as long as you like!
Please do join us if you fancy it, and bring your own loppers and bow saw if you have one (we have spares also). We are a friendly bunch and the Lum is a really peaceful place to be; when we’ve finished it’s like we’ve been in our own little world for a bit, which is very refreshing.
Please see the attachment for all you need to know.
Hope to see you soon.

A reminder of why you were invited and what we hope to achieve;
You are invited to attend an open meeting, either to see if you would like to be involved or to find out how we might benefit each other. We would appreciate any input, to find out how we might benefit people involved in different aspects of herbs, i.e. herbalists, local growers, community groups, in fact, anyone interested in medicinal herbs.
During the course of the evening we hope to discover and clarify the direction we intend to take as a group.
I do hope you can all make it.
Any one else you know who might be interested?…. do invite them along.
