or hidden sites across the city. Each project includes careful consideration
of location, soil type and quality, maintenance and sustainability. All
Reclaim the Soil events emphasise creating an edible, chemical-free landscape. |

February
08 – continuing the tradition of community planting on Ponderosa green
space, we created an edible permaculture bed including many species
of herbs and planted a number of fruit bushes to enhance the existing
flourishing orchard space and fruit. We carried our soil improvement
on the site and we joined by a number of members of the public of all
ages.

October
07 – A neglected city centre planter was rejuvenated by a large group
of volunteers under the supervision of Richard Clare. Soil was improved
and added to and a carefully thought out diverse collection of plants,
mostly edible, were planted- 6 months on its still looking good…
