Reclaim the Soil is about reviving and replanting neglected, forgotten or hidden sites across the city. Each project includes careful consideration of location, soil type and quality, maintenance and sustainability. All Reclaim the Soil events emphasise creating an edible, chemical-free landscape.

February 08 – continuing the tradition of community planting on Ponderosa green space, we created an edible permaculture bed including many species of herbs and planted a number of fruit bushes to enhance the existing flourishing orchard space and fruit. We carried our soil improvement on the site and we joined by a number of members of the public of all ages.
