Multifaith Forest Garden Day

August 8, 2015 @ 11:00 am2:00 pm

Free

You are invited to join us for a Multifaith Forest Gardening day at Parkwood Springs on Saturday 8th August, 11am – 2pm.

Parkwood Forest Garden is a beautiful calm space and a productive permaculture project.  It is a young forest garden developed by Sheffield City Council in association with local volunteers.

This month we will be continuing with summer weeding and with the usual maintenance tasks. There will also be a fair amount of HARVESTING to do!!! So bring your punnets!  Thank you to everyone who has worked on, and visited the forest garden over the past months. We look forward to seeing old friends and meeting new ones as we continue to improve the garden. There will be opportunity to continue discussing the future plan for the garden and also a chance for a guided walk for those who haven’t visited before.

The workday will be hosted by Angus Hunter who will be at the entrance of the car park from 10.45am. Please feel free to contact me for more information on 07855225172 or at [email protected]
