Oasis Garden

Fancy growing your own organic vegetables?

Becoming an Oasis gardening volunteer is about learning and sharing skills, it’s meeting new people, spending time amongst nature in lovely surroundings… and growing your own vegetables.

We get together on Tuesdays, 1.30pm until around 5pm, at our garden based in the peaceful location of Old Fulwood Road, S10 3TH. You can reach us on the 83a or the 120 bus, and there’s ample parking if you’ve got your own vehicle.

We have a vegetable garden and two large polytunnels. This enable us to grow produce all year round and means there’s always work that can be done, come rain or shine. We grow organic produce people can enjoy – such as salads, aubergines, tomatoes and sweet smelling bunches of sweet peas.

We’re always keen to hear from new volunteers, so if you’re interested in finding out more, or coming along to meet us, contact our friendly project manager:

Tim Blundell Jones – [email protected] or 079260 97027.
