Interested in the outdoors? Learning organic growing techniques? Getting physically fit and getting to know other like minded individuals in a beautiful Victorian walled garden?
We have volunteering opportunities on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays, 10.30 – 16.00. Join our team of volunteers, learning best organic practice, to develop your skills and knowledge, or just to enjoy a satisfying day’s activity in beautiful surroundings. A lift is provided from heeley city farm front entrance, meet at 9.30.. or meet at Wortley Hall at 10.30.
Volunteer tasks include. Propagation, planting, harvesting, wall repair, plant protection, bed cultivation and more.. All guided by experienced organic growers.
